Soccer Recap: Pekin Comes Up Short

Pekin came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Orion/Sherrard United, falling 5-1.

Pekin's loss dropped their record down to 9-8-1. As for Orion/Sherrard, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

Coming up, Pekin will challenge Richwoods at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Orion/Sherrard, they will take on Rockford Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
