It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Roy had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Timpview Thunderbirds by a score of 29-19. Winning may never get old, but the Royals sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Robert Young continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 69 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also made six total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception. Another player making a difference was Dru Gardner, who threw for 135 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Roy, adding 11 points to the final score. All came courtesy of Colby Frokjer: he went 3-for-3 kicking field goals for nine points, and 2-for-2 kicking extra points for an additional two.
