Basketball Recap: Memphis Takes a Loss

Memphis lost against Panhandle back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Memphis Cyclones took a blow against the Panhandle Panthers, falling 66-30. The Cyclones have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Memphis lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Armando Saenz, who posted 13 points.

Memphis' defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Panhandle, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7.

Looking ahead, Memphis will face off against Wheeler at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Panhandle, they will square off against Clarendon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Panhandle's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
