Cole's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over the Gonzales Apaches. Jackson Freds was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Cole is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those seven matches. Gonzales' defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-4.

Looking ahead, Cole will take on La Vernia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (La Vernia has won six straight at home, while Cole won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Gonzales does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
