Football Recap: Montclair Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Montclair was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bloomfield Bengals, falling 46-21. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Mounties came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Bengals are ranked 219th).

Jeremy Tejada had a dynamite game For Bloomfield., rushing for 195 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Tayler Guerrero, who rushed for 72 yards and one TD on only nine carries.

Montclair's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bloomfield, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.
