Football Recap: Coronado Falls Short Against Ranked Higley + How To Watch

Coronado is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Higley. The Cougars took a hard 32-13 fall against the Knights. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Although Coronado took the loss, they still got scores from Nick Battisti and Jayden Davis.

Even if they lost, Coronado's defensive line still kept up the pressure with 4.5 sacks. Kaz Lewis was especially locked on to Higley's QB and sacked him 2.5 times. Davis got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Coronado's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Higley, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coronado didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-6 loss against IMG Academy on the 13th. As for Higley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 25-13 victory against Mesa on the 12th.
