Baseball Recap: Doral Academy Red Rock Comes Up Short

Doral Academy Red Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 17-1 to the Legacy Longhorns. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 last Monday.

Kymani Mika-Togiola was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.

Doral Academy Red Rock's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Legacy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season.

Doral Academy Red Rock will square off against Bonanza at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Legacy, they will challenge Sierra Vista at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mountain Lions will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Longhorns surely won't give up without a fight.
