Soccer Recap: Pacific Ridge Has No Trouble Against San Marcos

On Tuesday, the Pacific Ridge Firebirds earned a 3-1 win over the San Marcos Knights. The match marked the Firebirds' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Nick Axelson and Dylan Kyle scored all three of Pacific Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Pacific Ridge's win bumped their record up to 4-1-2. As for San Marcos, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 0-3-4 record this season.

Pacific Ridge and Cathedral Catholic will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. San Marcos will take on Carlsbad in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
