Highland Park had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Turner Golden Bears by a score of 2-0. The Scots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Bears, too.

Highland Park never let Turner on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16.

Justine Johnson paced Highland Park's offense, picking up four kills. Johnson got some help from Kaia Hooper and her eight assists. Kaylie Barnes and Sincere Cooper kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Despite the loss, Turner still got an impressive performance from Shyann Herring, who had 20 digs and two assists. Herring is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Highland Park's victory bumped their record up to 14-11-1. As for Turner, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season.

Coincidentally, Highland Park and Turner will both be playing Leavenworth the next time they take the court. The Scots will head out to face the PIONEERS at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Golden Bears will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
