Jordan Pinkerton turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Tuesday. He struck out 11 batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has become a key player for Belleview: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-3 otherwise.

Coming up, Pinkerton and Belleview will take on Crystal River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pinkerton has dominated as far as hits are concerned (he's averaged 1.3 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Pirates have only allowed 5.75 per game this season.
