Basketball Recap: St. Francis Takes a Loss

St. Francis lost against Geneva back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The game between the Spartans and the Vikings didn't end well, with the Spartans falling 39-22. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Francis now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Geneva, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, St. Francis will take on Chicago Mt. Carmel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Spartans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Geneva, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Marmion at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
