While Millbrook's win against Knightdale wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats' pitcher stepped up to hand the Knights a 1-0 shutout on Monday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 15-1 win two weeks ago.

Knightdale's batters probably weren't too happy with Reece Kuhns, who pitched a no hitter and racked up nine Ks (he gave up two walks). Kuhns has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Millbrook's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Connor Wright, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Millbrook's record now sits at 17-8. As for Knightdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 16 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.
