Soccer Game Preview: Saguaro vs. Campo Verde

The Saguaro Sabercats will be taking part in a tournament against the Campo Verde Coyotes at 9:30 a.m. on Friday.

Last Monday, Saguaro and Flagstaff finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw.

Quinn Busby and Caitlin Ulreich-Power scored all three of Saguaro's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Campo Verde faced Liberty in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Campo Verde never let Liberty onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Coyotes who have now won four games in a row.

Campo Verde's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three contests. Saguaro's draw makes their record 1-2-3 this season.
