Softball Recap: West Geauga Wolverines vs. Kirtland Hornets

West Geauga had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Kirtland Hornets on Monday as they made off with a 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won three contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Morgan Atwara was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dayana Malone, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
