Volleyball Recap: Great Hearts Irving Takes a Loss

The Great Hearts Irving Mustangs came up short against the Nolan Catholic Vikings on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Great Hearts Irving actually scored more points across those four sets (90-87), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-22, 12-25, 25-21.

Great Hearts Irving's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Nolan Catholic, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Great Hearts Irving is set to square off against their familiar foe Decatur at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th. Meanwhile, Nolan Catholic will face off against rival Red River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
