Football Recap: Spaulding Takes a Loss

Spaulding fell victim to Dover and their airtight defense on Friday. They took an 8-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Green Wave. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Spaulding's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Dover, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Spaulding is set to face off against their familiar foe Manchester Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dover will challenge rival Timberlane at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
