Softball Recap: Mount Anthony Extends Home Winning Streak to 11

On Saturday Mount Anthony's undefeated season almost came to an end. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Pittsfield Generals a 2-0 shutout. The two-run effort marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Mount Anthony's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games.
