Softball Recap: Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy Drops Highest Score of Season Against Parkston

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy). They walked away with a 19-15 victory over the Parkston Trojans on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

The win made it two in a row for Freeman/Marion/Freeman Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-7-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Parkston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
