Basketball Game Preview: Binger-Oney Bobcats vs. Calumet Chieftains

The Binger-Oney Bobcats will head out on the road to face off against the Calumet Chieftains at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday. Calumet took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Binger-Oney, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Binger-Oney duked it out withCarnegie on Tuesday. Binger-Oney took down Carnegie 52-36. The Bobcats didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.

Meanwhile, Calumet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 62-26 loss at the hands of Okarche. While losing is never fun, the Chieftains can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 340th, while the Warriors are ranked 65th).

Calumet's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Binger-Oney, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.

Binger-Oney came up short against Calumet in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, falling 51-44. Can Binger-Oney avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
