On Wednesday, Wahpeton faced Kindred in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Wahpeton Huskies took a hard 55-40 fall against the Kindred Vikings. The Huskies' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Wahpeton's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Kindred, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 24-1.
