Volleyball Recap: Pine Bluffs Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pine Bluffs can now relate to. They came up short against the Big Horn Rams on Friday, falling 3-0. The Hornets have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Hattie Lerwick paced Pine Bluffs' offense, picking up 11 kills. Lerwick got some help from Avery Gray and her ten assists.

Big Horn found their leader in sophomore Lilly Thomas, who had ten digs and five assists.

Pine Bluffs' loss dropped their record down to 23-9. As for Big Horn, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-9 record this season.

Pine Bluffs didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Big Piney on the 8th. As for Big Horn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Sundance on the 8th.
