Volleyball Recap: Paoli's Losing Streak Snapped at Eight Games

Paoli had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Clarksville Generals with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Generals, too.

While Paoli won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-22, 25-15.

Chelsea Neukam paced Paoli's offense, picking up five kills. Neukam got some help from Maddie Vernon and her 13 assists. Vernon also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Abigail Poe, racking up seven apiece.

Paoli's victory bumped their record up to 2-13. As for Clarksville, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Paoli didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Salem on the 11th. As for Clarksville, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against New Washington on the 10th.
