Soccer Game Preview: Ariton vs. Long

Ariton is 0-5 against Long since April of 2023 but things could change on Thursday. The Ariton Purple Cats will be playing at home against the Long Rebels at 7:00 p.m. Long took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Ariton, who comes in off a win.

Ariton is coming into the game on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight victories. They came out on top against Barbour County by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Long's offense. They came up short against Charles Henderson on Friday, falling 10-0. The Rebels haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-7-1. As for Long, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
