It was a proper cat-fight when South Plainfield faced off against Plainfield on Friday. The Tigers came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

South Plainfield not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Plainfield to exactly 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16.

Kyara Knight paced South Plainfield's offense, picking up five kills. Knight got some help from Raika Stiglic and her seven assists. Cassandra Penny controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

South Plainfield now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Plainfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
