Panama had won seven straight games and Carter Brink did his part to make it eight on Thursday. The Panama Panthers came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 72-68 W against the Falconer Golden Falcons thanks in part to Brink, who posted 22 points and eight boards. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 19 or more in each of the last 15 games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Alex Barmore, who earned seven points along with seven rebounds and six blocks. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in blocks.

Panama pushed their record up to 16-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.6 points over those games. As for Falconer, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Looking ahead, Panama will head out to square off against Frewsburg at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Frewsburg is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.7 points per game this season. As for Falconer, they are taking a road trip to face off against Maple Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
