Volleyball Recap: Davis Sr. Takes a Loss

Davis Sr. was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Granite Bay Grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Davis Sr. started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-15, 25-14, 25-19.

Davis Sr.'s defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Granite Bay, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Davis Sr. is set to square off against their familiar foe Whitney at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Granite Bay will take on rival Jesuit at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
