Soccer Game Preview: Upper Darby vs. Lower Merion

Upper Darby hasn't had much luck against Lower Merion recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Royals will welcome the Aces at 3:45 p.m. Upper Darby will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Upper Darby's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Radnor 1-0. The win was all the more spectacular given Upper Darby's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while Radnor are ranked 106th).

Upper Darby's one-goal win came courtesy of Cristian Crespo, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Lower Merion hasn't lost a match since September 2nd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. They and Bayard Rustin finished up their match with a 2-2 draw.

Lower Merion's draw makes their record 9-2-5 this season. As for Upper Darby, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.
