Shadow Ridge has gone a perfect 6-0 against Sunnyslope recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Shadow Ridge will challenge Sunnyslope at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Monday, Shadow Ridge came up short against Mountain Ridge and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Stallions in their meetings with the Mountain Lions: they've now lost three in a row.

Shadow Ridge started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Sunnyslope also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Mountain Ridge by a score of 3-1. While the Vikings didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Mountain Lions 25-18 in the first set.

Sunnyslope was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Mountain Ridge work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-17, 26-24, 25-18.

Shadow Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Sunnyslope, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Shadow Ridge took their win against Sunnyslope when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shadow Ridge since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
