Preview: Christopher Cougars vs. Menlo School Knights
The Christopher Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Menlo School Knights at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Christopher is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Christopher beat Archbishop Mitty 32-28.
Jaxen Robinson looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 222 yards and two touchdowns. William Rizqallah was in the mix as well, providing Christopher with two touchdowns.
Live Oak typically have all the answers at home, but on Friday Menlo School proved too difficult a challenge. Menlo School sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 30-28 win over Live Oak.
Menlo School can attribute much of their success to Mikey McGrath, who rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns, and Willis Johnson, who rushed for 168 yards and a touchdown.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 10-1.
