Football Recap: Normandy Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Normandy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 41-0 defeat at the hands of the Gateway Tech Jaguars on Saturday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Looking ahead, Normandy will head out on the road to face off against St. Dominic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gateway Tech, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Roosevelt at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
