Soccer Recap: Battery Creek Comes Up Short

Battery Creek lost against Bridges Prep back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Dolphins lost 4-1 to the Buccaneers. Battery Creek have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Battery Creek's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Bridges Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Battery Creek will venture away from home to take on Colleton County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bridges Prep, they will head out to square off against Academic Magnet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bridges Prep's defense better be ready for this one: Academic Magnet have averaged an impressive 3.8 goals per game this season.
