Softball Recap: Globe Victorious

Globe won the last time they faced Blue Ridge and things went their way on Monday too. Everything went the Globe Tigers' way against the Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets as the Globe Tigers made off with a 14-5 win.

Antonella Franco was a standout: she scored three runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Audiyana Navarro was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Globe's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Blue Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Globe will challenge Catalina at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Globe is facing Catalina at the right time seeing as Catalina is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Blue Ridge, they will face off against Thatcher at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
