Baseball Recap: Landmark Comes Up Short

Landmark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Pingree Highlanders, falling 18-4. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 12-1 to the Highlanders when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Theo Masella made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Harry O'Connor, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Landmark's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Pingree, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Landmark will challenge Wheeler at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pingree, they will take on Marianapolis Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
