Southwest Onslow is 9-0-1 against South Lenoir since August of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Stallions will square off against the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. Southwest Onslow's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

While Southwest Onslow's win against Heide Trask wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Stallions never let the Titans get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Southwest Onslow as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, South Lenoir's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Pender by a score of 1-0. South Lenoir have struggled against Pender recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

South Lenoir's loss dropped their record down to 5-12-2. As for Southwest Onslow, their victory bumped their record up to 4-12.

Southwest Onslow skirted past South Lenoir 4-3 when the teams last played on October 8th. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Stallions since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
