Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central). They were the clear victors by an 18-6 margin over the Piscataquis Pirates on Monday. The Red Devils have beaten the Pirates the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Pirates has come to flipping the script.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Piscataquis, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Central will challenge Bangor Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Piscataquis, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Searsport at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
