It's playoff time, and Hokes Bluff had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Oneonta Redskins 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since March 11th.

Hokes Bluff has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-23 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Oneonta, they dropped their record down to 13-20 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Hokes Bluff didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-2 loss against Etowah on the 25th. As for Oneonta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Ashville on the 25th.
