Dove Creek was led to victory by Josh Kibel, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Tuesday. Kibel almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine steals, good enough to set a new career-high in steals in the process. The contest was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Kibel and Dove Creek will face off against Nucla at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Mustangs, probably because Kibel had a solid game then too: he posted 11 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.
