Basketball Game Preview: Bear Lake Bears vs. American Falls Beavers

The Bear Lake Bears will face off against the American Falls Beavers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bear Lake knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully American Falls likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, Bear Lake took their matchup with ease, bagging a 59-28 win over Snake River. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, American Falls escaped with a win on Saturday against Marsh Valley by the margin of a single free throw, 50-49. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Beavers.

Bear Lake's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for American Falls, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.
