Powhatan proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by six) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Manchester Lancers, sneaking past 3-2. This was payback for Powhatan, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Powhatan now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Manchester, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Powhatan has already played their next game (against Hanover), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Manchester, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clover Hill at 7:00 p.m. on April 8.
