Soccer Game Preview: Fowler vs. Liberty

The Fowler Redcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Liberty Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Fowler fell victim to Caruthers and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Raiders. The Redcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Liberty won against Minarets on Friday with three goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Tuesday. Liberty came out on top against Yosemite by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

They hit Yosemite with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gabriele Tedeschi, Charlie Chang, and Ivan Amezcua.

Liberty is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-11-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four contests. As for Fowler, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10-3.

Fowler skirted past Liberty 2-1 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Does Fowler have another victory up their sleeve, or will Liberty turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
