Fans were treated to a battle of the Mustangs on Tuesday. Monte Vista Christian took down Gilroy 77-60. Monte Vista Christian has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Gilroy, too.

Monte Vista Christian found their leader in freshman Gabriel White, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 19 boards. Go Kamishita was another key player, shooting 50% from the field en route to 21 points.

Monte Vista Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since the start of last season.

Monte Vista Christian has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monte Vista Christian will challenge Soquel at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gilroy, they will face off against Soledad at 7:00 p.m. on December 5.
