Softball Recap: Seymour Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Seymour took on Archer City on Monday. The Panthers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 12-2. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it eight in a row.

Seymour saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was B Hardin, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Seymour's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Archer City, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-8.

While Seymour had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
