Basketball Recap: Kwigillingok Takes a Loss

Kwigillingok was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 56-20 loss at the hands of the Lewis Angapak Blue Jays. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

They used a three-pronged attack on offense: Kennice Anaver, Faith Paul, and Jasmine Andrew posted six points each.

It was another big night for Shalisa McDalton, who made all 9 shots she took to post 22 points for Lewis Angapak. McDalton is also crushing it when it comes to shooting accuracy: she's posted at least one every time she's taken the court this season. Rhiannon Nicholai was another key player, as she made all 5 shots she took for 10 points.

Kwigillingok now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Lewis Angapak, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.
