Football Game Preview: Windsor Academy Knights vs. Heritage Hawks + Official Tickets

The Windsor Academy Knights will take on the Heritage Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Windsor Academy will be strutting in after a win while Heritage will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Windsor Academy turned things around against Central Fellowship Christian Academy on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Lancers 16-14.

A big part of Windsor Academy's win came down to the chemistry between Heath Woodard and his top target Dawson Sims. Woodard threw for 304 yards and one touchdown while completing 73.3% of his passes while Sims picked up 189 receiving yards and one TD. Those 304 passing yards gave Woodard a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 53-38 fall against Flint River Academy.

Windsor Academy picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-7. As for Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything came up roses for Windsor Academy against Heritage in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 41-6 win. In that game, the Knights amassed a halftime lead of 26-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
