Marian Catholic lost to Bloom back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Spartans walked away with a 7-2 win over the Blazing Trojan.

The result came thanks to Jackie Pollock's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up 14 Ks.

On the hitting side, Kendyl Rainey was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Mya Davis, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Marian Catholic kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Marian Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Bloom, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7.

Marian Catholic has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 loss against Providence Catholic on the 23rd. As for Bloom, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-0 win against Thornridge on the 23rd.
