Basketball Recap: Teague Goodman's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Manila over Big Piney

On Friday, the Manila Mustangs didn't have quite enough to beat the Big Piney Punchers and fell 55-52. The match marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Manila's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Teague Goodman, who posted 18 points. With that strong performance, Goodman is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Wyatt Muir was another key player, putting up 13 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Manila and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Big Piney, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Manila wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-55 defeat against Farson-Eden on the 14th. Big Piney has also already played their next match, a 55-51 loss against Little Snake River on the 14th.
