Football Recap: Central Islip Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Central Islip's offense. The contest between the Musketeers and the Walt Whitman Wildcats didn't end well, with the Musketeers falling 15-0. The Musketeers haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Central Islip's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Walt Whitman, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Central Islip will challenge Ward Melville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Musketeers will need to watch out since the Patriots have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Walt Whitman, they will take on Bay Shore at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
