While Lakewood's win against Jordan wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lancers won by a run and slipped past the Panthers 9-8. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Lancers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Gavin Koontz was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Anthony Rueda, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Lakewood's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Jordan, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-11-1.
