Soccer Game Preview: St. Edward vs. Timothy Christian

The St. Edward Green Wave will venture away from home to face off against the Timothy Christian Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Saturday, St. Edward came up short against Montini Catholic and fell 4-2.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Timothy Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Phoenix Military a 9-0 shutout on Friday. The result was nothing new for Timothy Christian, who have now won seven matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Phoenix Military from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal.

St. Edward's loss dropped their record down to 3-14-1. As for Timothy Christian, their win bumped their record up to 9-6-1.

St. Edward might still be hurting after the 7-1 defeat they got from Timothy Christian in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Green Wave were down 5-0.
