Basketball Game Preview: Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks vs. Berthold Bombers

The Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks will challenge the Berthold Bombers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood has four straight victories, Berthold has eight straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

The 60-point effort marked the Mavericks' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Berthold played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 86-33 loss at the hands of Westhope/Newburg. The Bombers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-21.

Berthold's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
